UMass Amherst’s premier long form improv troupe
Toast is currently a troupe of 13 improvisers that perform every Friday night at 8 pm in Herter 231 at UMass. Toast has also performed at the ImprovBoston Cagematch, the Del Close Marathon, the Providence Improv Fest, the College Improv Tournament in Boston, the Jamaica Plains Festival, and in Chicago on stage at iO and the CiC Theater.

Dreams to one day be bitten by his vampire girlfriend in the hopes of joining her cult of vampires that live eternally together in a desolate forest amidst warring tribes of wolf people and his hard ass police officer father.
Works hard so he can fall through a hole near a tree only to find himself in a magical land with a ghostly, coy cat, a man with an ill fitting hat, and a hot queen who is evil in all the right ways.
Wishes nightly so that she can wake up one morning having realized that she’s switched bodies with her mother and proceed to have a very “freaky” experience for the rest of the day.
Hustles so she can learn that her and all her friends living in the supermarket will face the same gruesome fate of being eaten when someone buys them and hatch a plan rife with food-like sexual innuendos to escape from their destiny.
Loves to hangout with her favorite bros, eating pizza, in the sewer. Together her and her bros save the town of Amherst while wielding her nun-chucks and her iconic Orange headband. Of course she couldn’t do it without her master, Splinter.
Raps daily so he can leave the ghetto and his single alcoholic mother to pursue his dream of rapping. He’ll know that this is his only way out of Route 9 but he’ll also know the road ahead is going to be a lot tougher than it seems.
It sounds like just another urban legend — a videotape filled with nightmarish images leads to a phone call foretelling the viewer’s death in exactly seven days. Kelsey is skeptical of the story until four teenagers all die mysteriously exactly one week after watching just such a tape. Allowing her investigative curiosity to get the better of her, Kelsey tracks down the video and watches it. Now she has just seven days to unravel the mystery.
